Environment & Nature Program (ENP)

This program suspended during the pandemic is now focused on raising major funding to expand the depth and scope of its benefits.

This program was expressly designed to teach the children, soil, food and water sustainability. Part of our education program plan is to teach them how to grow their own food utilizing organic, permaculture and traditional agricultural methods.

Recycling, water and waste management are taught. We also provide waste management collection from each of the schools which is then recycled at a recycling plant. We plan to teach the children how to create wind turbines and we provide each school with composting toilets and with one or two animals and compost pits for taking care of the school gardens.

Tree seedlings are cultivated and periodically planted as part of ENP’s contribution to a reforestation program. We are members since 2007 of the Clean Up The World program and work within their guidelines and conduct special activities on World Environment Day and Clean Up the World days twice annually.
